The 2022 awards will celebrate the success and resilience of tourism businesses across the region and promote the strength of the business and leisure tourism offer, its venues, people, experiences and accommodation.
The awards also serve to highlight the importance of tourism’s contribution to the regional economy, which stood at an all-time high of £13.1bn in 2019 before being impacted by Covid-19 the following year. Together with our industry partners, we will seek to grow the economic value of tourism during the next decade, using major events including the UK City of Culture 2021 in Coventry and the 2022 Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games as a way to bounce back post Covid-19.
Eligible winners from the West Midlands Tourism Awards will automatically feed into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2023 for the chance to be recognised as a national winner so join us to see who will be crowned!
Tickets to attend the event are £75+VAT per person or £700+VAT for a table of 10. The event is the perfect opportunity to eat, drink, network, celebrate and party!

Times: 6pm for a 7pm awards ceremony with formal proceedings closing at 11pm and carriages at 12am

Entertainment: The Peaky Blinders band will play the event out so bring those dancing shoes!
