  • Refrences

    Where possible you should include at least 2 work related references;

    The first should be from your current or most recent employer line manager. Where this is not possible, we will require a personal reference from a professional of good standing that has known you for atleast 3 years. This could include a teacher / lecturer or a commuity leader. 

    It is imperative that you include details of any employment or positions you have held that involve you working with children. The second reference should be details of your employer or line manager from this work. Where this is not applicable then a second work reference will suffice. If this is not possible, a please provide a personal reference as above.

    Please note that personal references from friends and family will not be accepted.

  • Criminal record

    Due to the nature of the posts within our service, they may be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exception Orders1975). If the post applied for requires a Disclosure as indicated on the front page, you should disclose information of all spent and unspentconvictions as well as details of any cautions, reprimands or final warnings, whether in the UK or abroad.
