Farm Rules
- All animals must be treated with respect
- All riders and drivers must wear a helmet when mounted or accept full liability of injury or death regardless of circumstances
- All riders must wear appropriate riding attire and boots
- Do not throw away food in trash cans or dumpster
- Feed room, hay storage and shavings are off limits. Staff only
- Do not administer any medication, dewormer, or supplement without notifying owner
- Always use properly fitted halter AND lead rope when leading horses. No halter without lead ropes, no lead ropes without halter. Throat latch must be clipped. If the halter doesn't fit, get another one.
- only tie in designated areas
- Take care of and respect shared tack and equipment. You are responsible for replacing tack if it gets broken while you use it.
- no halters should be left on horses in stalls or turned out unless they are well fitted, leather or breakaway
- minors must be accompanied by an adult
- All riders and guests who come into contact with the horses must have a release form on file.
- 5mph speed limit on driveways. Please watch out for children and animals when driving
- clean up after your horse in all tacking and washing areas
- well marked trails on the farm can be used any time. Do not ride on neighboring trails without Crosby. Golf course, cow farm, and riding on the roads is not allowed without Crosby present.
- do not make changes to bridles or exchange bits without permission
- Personal tack and equipment can be stored in the "mailbox" room
- The main tack room in the old barn is private access and is off limits for guests
- feel free to use the refrigerator in the carriage house but do not take other people's drinks or snacks that are in there except water and Iceys
- The farm is not responsible for stolen or damaged tack. Any personal tack that is left behind and unclaimed for 1 year is property of the farm
- NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON THE FARM
- well behaved, non destructive and non aggressive dogs are allowed as long as they do not cause any distress to other animals or people while at the Farm. Dog owners are responsible for damages to property or livestock while visiting
- bullying or disrespect of any kind toward others or animals will not be tolerated and will be refused service. Refunds will not be given if dismissed because of poor actions.
