Welcome to the Upstate Renaissance Faire!
This year the Upstate Renaissance Faire will be held for TWO days at Greer City Park.
Details and Expectations
Friday, September 8, 5-10pm
Saturday, September 9, 10am-8pm (be in your booths by 9:30, but people will probably already be at the park). Tear down starts at 8pm sharp
Vendors must attend both days.
Cost: $200 for 10x10 space ($300 for 20x10)
Unfortunately, tents must be weighted. NO STAKES
Set-up: Friday noon-4pm Because the Faire is in the public park, people will be out an about all day, so you will need to have someone at your tent once it's set up.
We have overnight security for the park but cannot guarantee the safety of your products. You can pack/unpack if you wish or leave it all night. We do not have RV parking or on-site camping.
No vehicles are allowed on the lawn, so you will need to have rolling carts and helpers.
Applications
1. All products MUST be Renaissance/Medieval/Viking/Pirate themed. If the photos sent in are not in the theme, the application won't be accepted.
2. Photos must be clear, uncluttered, and not have the vendor's hands/head shadowing the work.
If the photos are not high-quality, the vendor's work will not be showcased on social media or the website even if the vendor is accepted/has amazing work. This year, the social media coordinator will not reach out to discuss photos or look on social media for better pictures.
We can recommend a good product photographer if you need help.
3. Vendors must decorate their tents in period-appropriate decor and must wear costumes the entire time the Faire is running.
We will have limited decorations available to rent for an extra $75/tent.
4. Vendors have one month to pay their fee or their space will be opened to others Make sure that you have info@upstaterenaissancefaire.com white listed.
Please apply with an email that you check regularly.
We will set up an auto-reminder for you, but we will not be sending out personalized reminders this year.
5. Accepted vendors will be invited to a private FB group for 2023 URF vendors. Most information will be provided in that group. You must answer all the questions to be accepted (even if this is your third year).
