Details and Expectations
WHERE: Greer City Park
301 E. Poinsett St. Greer, SC 29651
WHEN: Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5-10pm
Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 10am-8pm
Vendors must attend both days.
Cost: $225 for 10x10 space ($350 for 20x10)
Unfortunately, tents must be weighted. NO STAKES
This fee is non-refundable.
Set-up: Friday from noon-4pm. (Because the Faire is in the public park, people will be out an about all day, so you will need to have someone at your tent once it's set up.)
We have overnight security for the park, but cannot guarantee the safety of your products. You can pack/unpack if you wish or leave it all night. We do not have RV parking or on-site camping.
No vehicles are allowed on the lawn. Plan ahead to have rolling carts and helpers.
Tear Down: Begins promptly on Saturday at 8pm. No early tear down allowed for vendors. All items must be removed from the site on Saturday night.
Applications
1. All products MUST be Renaissance/Medieval/Viking/Pirate themed. If the photos sent in are not on theme, the application won't be accepted.
2. Photos must be clear, uncluttered, and not have the vendor's hands/head shadowing the work.
If the photos are not high-quality, the vendor's work will not be showcased on social media or the website, even if the vendor is accepted/has amazing work.
We can recommend a good product photographer if you need help.
3. Vendors must decorate their tents in period-appropriate decor and must wear costumes the entire time the Faire is running. We haven't been emphasizing this as much in the past, but it will now be taken very seriously. We are trying to create an immersive experience for the Faire.
We will have limited decorations available to rent for an extra $75/tent.
4. Vendors have one month to pay their fee or their space will be opened to others. Make sure that you have info@upstaterenaissancefaire.com added to your email contacts.
Please apply with an email that you check regularly.
We will set up an auto-reminder for you, but we will not be sending out personalized reminders this year.
5. Accepted vendors will be invited to a private FB group for 2024 URF vendors. Most information will be provided in that group. You must answer all the questions to be accepted (even if you've been a memeber before). We are trying to keep our vendor group very personal for us.
