Mahalo for your interest in Haku Collectiveʻs MeleCraft Bootcamp!
This program is for students/youth/young adults ages 14-22. ALL LEVELS OF TALENT, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME! Whether you are just starting to explore songwriting or have performed on stage in front of large crowds, we invite you to be a part of this program. Haku Collective strongly believes that everyoneʻs voice matters and our goal is to support your musical development and journey.
*Note that auditions will be held in the evening on the first day (Friday) of each session. Following the audition night, participants will be notified if they are invited back to the second day of the program.
The time, location, parking instructions and other information regarding your specific session will be shared with you closer to each date.
Please come to your audition prepared to perform a song between 1 -2 minutes long. Original songs are preferred, but not required. Please bring your instrument or computer as needed. Please also bring your musical art in one of the following formats:
- Poetry/Lyrics/Songwriting
- Live performance/recite
- Handwritten
- Pre-recorded
- Singing
- Live performance (original or cover)
- Pre-recorded
- Instrument
- Live performance (must provide your own instrument and/or any accessories/cables)

- Music Producing/Arranging/Engineering
- Live performance

After the Friday audition night, you will be notified if you were selected to continue on with the Saturday program. This will be an opportunity to learn more about songwriting and the music industry and gain essential knowledge and skills from some of Hawaiiʻs leading musicians.
