Grant Aid Background

TRIO Student Support Services Grant Aid is a financial award available to currently enrolled TRIO SSS participants through a generous grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The purpose of grant aid is to support progression and achievement of academic goals as defined by TRIO SSS at CCSU.

To be eligible for the CCSU TRIO SSS Grant Aid Scholarship, you must:

Be current SSS participants
Be in their first 2 years of postsecondary education
Be receiving Pell Grants; or
- Have completed their first two years of postsecondary education, and
  - Be at high-risk of dropping; and
    - Have all eligible first-and-second-year students' needs met

Please note: An application does not guarantee an award. Each application will be verified for eligibility. Please complete the application. Funds are dispersed based on availability, eligibility, and need.
