ACA New England Camp Conference Scholarship Fund Request

ACA, New England is committeed to expanding participation at our New England Camp Conference. We want attendees to reflect a diversity of backgrounds, camps, cultures, and identites.

We have established a Scholarship Fund to help make the conference more accessible to attendees meeting the following criteria:

First-time New England Camp Conference attendees.
Individual ACA Members (The American Camp Association offers a FREE 1-year trial membership for first time members. Use code FREENE at checkout and click here to JOIN today.). Individual membership is different than camp membership. If you are not sure if you're an individual member, call ACA, New England at 781-541-6080 or email bud@acanewengland.org.
Requests for up to two individuals per camp will be considered. If requesting lodging assistance, attendees from the same camp may be asked to room together.

Scholarship Funds are still available and the deadline for the next round of awards is February 16. If this form is still open that likely means funds are still available.

Scholarship Fund requests will be reviewed after February 16 and we expect award decisions to be communicated the week of February 20. Once assistance is offered, attendees will have 48-hours to register for the Conference and take advantage of the offer. This ensures that ACA, New England has time to redistribute funds to other attendees in need if you/your colleague(s) can no longer attend.

For requests received on or after January 30, 2023, remaining available funds will be distributed after a second deadlie of February 16, 2023.

This application is completely confidential and nothing in this application will be shared publicly. The only people who will see your answers are our internal scholarship fund review committee.
