By signing this agreement, the CLUB agrees to host an RBC PGA Scramble Regional Final between August 12th -September 5th, 2024 (as specified later in this form). The following outlines the requirments, along with the rules and responsibilities as a host site:
PGA OF CANADA
The PGA of Canada will provide:
- Event website
- Registration form and will collect all entry fees
- One on-site representative for two days (the day before and day of the event)
- Majority of amateur entry fee collected will be provided to the CLUB. This will cover:
o Golf
o Cart
o One meal per amateur competitor
o $10 towards golf shop gift certificates for the top two teams not advancing to Cabot
- $35 per PGA professional, volunteer scorer and sponsor representative to cover the cost of their meal. Golf fees are waived for these participants.
- One host club exemption (1 professional and 4 amateurs) into the Regional Final. That team must:
o Be within the eligibility requirements of a Local Qualifier
o Pay the entry fee
HOSTING
The PGA of Canada is fortunate to have the support of some of Canada’s largest corporations with this program. To keep the program viable and continue to provide world-class golf experiences for golfers across the country, the CLUB may be asked to host teams representing a program sponsor. Sponsor teams or representatives may contribute to the Regional Final by greeting the competitors on a hole or prior to the round, speaking post-round and/or providing additional gifts/prizing.
THE CLUB
The CLUB agrees to provide all necessary carts required for the competition, noting that the Regional Finals are played in fivesomes (plus volunteer scorer) and will require three carts per group.
SIGNAGE
The PGA of Canada will provide up to twelve(12) blade flags to be installed for the event. Instructions on how to assemble them and where they should be installed will be provided.
REGISTRATION
The club will assign a representative to conduct registration with the PGA of Canada representative upon player arrivals. The registration table will be decorated with the provided table cover. The CLUB will also conduct bag-drop services for all competitors.
SOFTWARE
The PGA of Canada will use the Golf Genius software for all tournament-related matters such as pairings, registration, scorecards, scoring, etc. To ensure the accuracy of scoring to the standards of the RBC PGA Scramble, it is imperative that all scores are entered into the Golf Genius system immediately following play. An internet connection will be required for the PGA of Canada representative.
VOLUNTEERS
Qualifying teams are required to supply a volunteer scorer and should not obtain one from the host club as per the Volunteer Scorer Policy.
EVENT REGISTRATION
All teams must register through www.rbcpgascramble.com. All staff should be updated on the program in the weeks leading up to the event to answer incoming questions from participants.
MARKETING MATERIALS
The CLUB will utilize the marketing materials (posters, email templates, etc.) provided by the PGA of Canada throughout the year to promote the RBC PGA Scramble.
INVOICING
The CLUB will send an invoice for any outstanding fees to the PGA of Canada within 14 days of the event date.

All miscellaneous expenses must be mutually agreed upon prior to the competition.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND TERMINATION
This Agreement will be the only Agreement between the parties and they agree to keep the terms confidential before, during and after the Championship.
DUAL HOLD HARMLESS
- PGA of Canada – The PGA of Canada agrees to Indemnify and save harmless the CLUB of and from and against all claims, demands, losses, costs, legal fees, expenses, liabilities, damages, actions, suits or other proceedings by whomsoever made, brought or prosecuted in any manner which is caused through any act or omission or negligence of PGA of Canada or by any person for whom PGA of Canada is responsible in law.
- The CLUB – The CLUB agrees to Indemnify and save harmless the PGA of Canada of and from and against all claims, demands, losses, costs, legal fees, expenses, liabilities, damages, actions, suits or other proceedings by whomsoever made, brought or prosecuted in any manner which is caused through any act or omission or negligence of the CLUB or by any person for whom the CLUB is responsible in law.
FORCE MAJEURE
Should the Championship be cancelled because of weather conditions, political unrest, act of God, labor unrest, insurrection, global pandemic or any reason other than participant’s withdrawal, the CLUB shall have no recourse against the PGA of Canada for expenses, costs or damages incurred by the hosts in consequence of any undertakings, obligations or other matters related to this agreement.
