Things to think about and know:
-If you said yes to a POOL and you DO NOT have a fence around your POOL, then please understand this would not be the best situation for this breed due to their difficulty in swimming and the possibility of developing secondary Pneumonia if they fall in and cannot get the water out of their lungs. WE HIGHLY ADVISE: Pool fences, sensors/alarms in pool, or even arranging a separate area for them to roam freely. Something to always ask yourself is would you leave your 2-year-old CHILD alone by the pool? This breed is very special and needs a lot of TLC, which can resemble the needs of toddlers. If that’s not what you are looking for then this breed may not be the right fit for you and your family.
-We also have older retired females every so often that may be the perfect fit for your needs. I also have trained a few of our pups as emotional support dogs and can discuss what the dog may need to be able to already do before they come to live with you. Tell us your needs.
-Show home program families are a welcome excitement for us as we continue to grow and develop these amazing little dogs that just give us so much joy. If you think your family might be interested, please send us an email after submitting your application. If you have children that might be interested in showing please feel free to contact us about junior handling. We do work with a few and we usually always have a few dogs available at shows for our Junior Handlers.
