Volunteer Expectations
Be prepared and on time! Arrive at your scheduled time. At 12:30 PM we have our Team Meeting and Prayer. Volunteer name tags will be provided for each ministry area and should be worn at each CityWide Kids you serve. Make sure when you are done at your scheduled time, to check out with with the Leader on your team.
If you cannot serve when you are scheduled, PLEASE let us know immediately so we can find someone in your place. Let us know ahead of time(3 Day Notice), and use Breeze Church Management to let us know.
MUST OBTAIN a Criminal Record Check. Before being scheduled to serve, you MUST obtain a Criminal Record Check. Family Christian Centre (FCC) will provide a letter to volunteers, for you to present. It is your responsibility to go to the RCMP to submit it, and once completed, submit us your background check
MUST be dependable, punctual, and be willing to take initiative when leading or assisting. Remember to follow the guidelines of each individual position description
Must be a team player, be respectful, and remember to uphold a godly reputation (ex. in church, outside of church, and on social media)
Always stay in groups of 3. You should never be alone with a child. Always have 2 leaders per child or at least 2 children per leader
Be willing to attend Volunteering Trainings and scheduled Team Meetings
Pray for the children you serve! And remember to have fun! Let the kids see your excitement and your passion for God
