The PosAbility Outreach Program is a new initiative as part of a collaboration with SPELD NSW, titled the Unbounded Project. This project aims to increase access to high quality evidence-based assessment, intervention and professional development opportuninties to children, families, teachers and professionals in rural and regional areas of NSW.
PosAbility will be visiting a number of locations throughout NSW, including Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie, Dubbo, and Newcastle.
We will initially be providing screening and diagnostic assessments for Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and ADHD to assist identifying children that require assistance and assist in planning to help them reach their potential. In future visits, we will be providing a range of intervention services and consulting services to increase the capacity of professionals and teachers within the local communities to support those in need.
Donations will be going towards providing these services to children in rural and regional areas and assisting with travel costs to enable our professionals to visit and help more children reach their potential.
