Here is why this is important, when I was too new in the business, and I remember being out of state in Topeka, Kansas getting a phone call from a woman who claimed to be the ex-wife of a husband that I wrote an insurance policy on. She asked me if I remember Robert. She told me that Robert died over a month ago in a motorcycle accident, and was not sure if he had insurance, and was curious because she discovered my card. Immediately, I remember cutting her off, and I said if that's the case fax me the death certificate. 

And let her know I will look into it, and will call her back. 

I automatically thought that could not be correct, because the insurance automatically knows when someone dies. 

Within 5 mins, I received the fax--the death certificate of Robert.  

When I delivered the check at Wendy's (restaurant) to Christina, 3 months later, she wished we had a faster system in place to notify her.

Please provide the names and phone numbers of the people you trust most and know will have your family’s best interests at heart when the worst happens.  We will contact them to inform them of the steps they need to take and who they need to contact in case of an emergency.
