  • Splitting the Red Sea - Not Your Typical Singles Event

    Topic: Masculinity, Femininity PART TWO!
Neediness vs Vulnerability - What's the Difference?
And what does this have to do with Masculnity and Femininity?

+ Meet New Friends. Set Them Up With Your Friends (Or Maybe Yourself!)
    Date: Sunday, March 19, 2023.
    Time: 7-9pm EST
Where: Over zoom (link to be sent upon approval)
    Cost: $20

Get ready for an online singles event like none other.

Note: The immediate goal here is NOT to meet your other half, but rather to network with other singles and see if you have any single friends that you can set them up with. That being said, since you'll be representing yourself as well, be prepared to receive some suggestions of your own, and you never know, your other half may just be there - G-d works in mysterious ways!

    What to expect?

    • This event will be capped at 30 singles (15 men, 15 women) ages 30s-40s
    • This will be a moderated event in which everyone will have an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves and say what they are looking for as well as suggest matches to those in attendance.

    Who should apply?

This event is geared towards single professional Jews (of all affliations) who are looking to get married in the near future. This means that you should only apply if you:

    • Have a job (or other steady soure of income, i.e you own a profit making business).
    • Are serious about getting married in the near future
    • Have a clear idea of the most important things that you need in a spouse
    • Have a current dating/shidduch resume which includes a current picture (i.e. taken within the last year or so).
    • Can provide at least 2 references who can vouch for your character.

Will everyone be accepted who applies for this event?

No. The event coordinators will personally vet each application and decide if you are a fit or not. We expect a large number of applicants, so if you aren't accepted to this event, but still qualify, you'll be placed on a waiting list for a future event.

  • NOTE: Please be aware that if the event coordinators decide that you are not a good fit for this event, your payment will be refunded. You are not signed up for this event until you receive an email from us confirming your acceptance, which will include the zoom event link.

If you are accepted to this event, do not share the zoom event link with others. The zoom meeting host will be cross referencing our list of accepted attendees and will only let those people in who are on our list of accepted participants.

If we feel you are a good fit for our event in general but not for the specific group that is being formed or if we've already filled to capacity,  we'll email you to ask if you'd like to be placed on the waiting list for the next event or would prefer a refund.

Once your application is approved, your payment will be processed. Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE. If you can't make it to the event, you might be able to transfer your ticket to a (same gender) friend if we approve of them - you'd need to email us their resume and any relevant info in advance and wait for us to accept them as a suitable replacement for you.
