The recipient of the Individual Award for Environmental Innovation must have identified and worked to create a solution to current environmental issues. The recipient’s work or idea should show evidence of mobilizing others in the community/region toward adopting that solution. The recipient must be an advocate for conservation and/or sustainability.
Nominees must reside in one of the nine counties of the Finger Lakes Region (Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Livingston, Genesee, Orleans, Wyoming, Yates, Seneca) to qualify for this award.
Nominees may self-nominate.
Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on February 1, 2023. Late entries will not be accepted and incomplete entries will not be reviewed by the selection committee.
