CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS: Dealers’ Choice is open to any manufacturer/importer of products that have been introduced in 2022. Categories include: Laminate, Sheet Vinyl, Flexible LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), WPC, SPC, Hardwood, Carpet, Tile & Stone, Flooring Related, Technology and Merchandising. Technology refers to software, apps, visualizers, AR & VR. Merchandising refers to new displays, signage, and POP materials, etc. Flooring Related includes but is not limited to trims, moldings, grouts, adhesives, cleaning and maintenance equipment, and installation supplies and equipment.
ENTRY FEE: $500 for each entry. Entry fee includes Dealers’ Choice signage at the respective booths of participating contestants, visuals of nominated products on display at Floor Covering Weekly’s booth on the Surfaces show floor, as well as enhanced coverage in Floor Covering Weekly’s Surfaces issue, and FCW daily e-newsletter, FCW's website and social platforms. Multiple entries WILL BE ALLOWED in each category.
SCOPE OF CONTEST: The purpose of this contest is to give retail attendees of TISE the opportunity to vote for the best product (within each category) by casting their ballots at the Floor Covering Weekly booth. Awards will be given to the winners of each category.
RESTRICTIONS: Only those products within the categories specified above that were introduced in 2022 are eligible to enter. There is no limit to the number of product entries per category.
PRIZES: Exclusive use of Dealers’ Choice logo will be awarded to participants. Winners will receive a personalized award. Retail voters at FCW's booth will have the chance to win a cash prize of $50 as an incentive to vote. Total prize giveaway not to exceed $10,000. Actual number of cash prizes will be determined during voting at Surfaces 2023.
HOW TO ENTER: Please fill out the form completely. The $500 Dealers' Choice entry fee will be billed the first week of January 2023 by Floor Covering Weekly. Further, all product entries must include a digital image (300 dpi or higher) of the nominated product.
VOTING: Voting will be open to all retail attendees of Surfaces 2023. ALL BALLOTS MUST BE FILLED OUT BY THE RETAILER.
GENERAL INFORMATION: All entry forms and submitted materials will be considered the property of Floor Covering Weekly and will not be returned. Winners will be required to provide written consent allowing Floor Covering Weekly to use entries, designs, photographs, names and all likenesses of entries in promotion and public relations activities. By participating, entrants agree to these rules and regulations. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
