AllTrack is currently searching for a music licensing/sales representative to join our talented team to perform the critical role of executing music licenses with businesses on behalf of AllTrack’s growing base of artists, songwriters, composers, producers and publishers. The hours of work are flexible, however the majority of the role requires interacting with prospective customers and colleagues during business hours.
You will be able to use your sales skills and business acumen to build a sense of trust, educate, and convey the benefits of music licensing to businesses. You will learn about the business side of the music industry and have the opportunity to speak with hundreds of businesses a week that require proper licenses from AllTrack for the use of music. Ideal candidates are high energy, personable, persistent, have an unrelenting determination to succeed, and are motivated by reaching and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals. As a venture-backed organization, there is unlimited room for growth!
Responsibilities
- Selling music usage licenses to businesses of all industries
- Performing business outreach via phone, video-conference and email
- Educating businesses on how music creators and publishers are compensated for the use of their music and the corresponding music licensing rules for those businesses (the role includes on the job training regarding music rights)
Requirements
- Two years of sales experience preferred
- One year of experience in a call center environment is a plus
- One year of customer service experience is a plus
- Experience with early stage high growth companies is a plus (i.e., involvement with a prior start-up/incubation/ v.1 inside a larger corporation), but not required
- Experience in the business side of music is a plus, but not required
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
- Proficiency with lightweight technology (Microsoft Office, Windows, CRM)
- Punctuality, dependability and the highest level of professionalism are mandatory at all times
- Strong ability to remain organized in a dynamic environment
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Laser focused attention to detail
