RULES AND REGULATIONS
I am a representative of {companyName} and have authority to make decisions on the company's behalf.
I understand the following:
• ONE 10 X 10 SPACE INCLUDES: 10' X 10' space only. Vendor is reponsible for canopy, tables, chairs, etc. Vendor must provide QUIET portable generator and electrical cords, plus tape to anchor cords to street.
• SPACE SIZES/RESTRICTIONS: All spaces are 10' x 10' square. No booth may encroach, obstruct any other space, pedestrian walkway/sidewalk or designated access way.
• SOLICITING: All soliciting for your business must be done within your allotted 10x10 space. It is prohibited to walk down the Street Faire disbributing flyers, marketing materials, etc.
• SET UP AND TEAR DOWN: Set-up from 7:00am to 9:00am. If NOT checked in and unloaded by 9am, YOU WILL NOT BE ADMITTED, AND YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR FEE AND SPACE. Each vendor will be responsible for unloading their own vehicle and setting up their own area. No vehicles will be permitted in the area after 9am. Street Faire vendors are not to close down before 4pm and spaces are to be cleared by 5pm.
• {companyName} must provide PROOF OF LIABILITY INSURANCE naming the DOWNEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, THE DOWNEY PATRIOT, INC. and the CITY OF DOWNEY as additional insured.
• SPACE AVAILABILITY AND CONFIRMATION: Space assignments are made on a first come, first served basis based upon the receipt of form online or postmarked date of application. Event Personell reserve the right to assign, change or substibute vendor spaces. {companyName} will be notified of application approval and confirmation packages will be emailed to you approximately TWO WEEKS prior to the Street Faire which will include festival information and parking passes. If you have not been accepted, you will be notified at that time.
• FOOD VENDORS: The County of Los Angeles Health Department has established guidelines and fees for operation of a temporary food booth. Vendors must provide their own three compartment sink. Companies selling or giving away pre=-packaged food (including packaged foods, candy, vitamins, herbs, water, etc.) you must have a health permit secured through the LA COUNTY HEALTH DEPT.
• ALL VENDORS: All retail and food vendors are required to have a California Seller's Permit. You many contact the STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION, 12750 CENTER COURT DRIVE SOUTH, SUITE 400, CERRITOS CA 90703 562-466-1520.
By sending in your application you are agreeing to the terms & condition listed below. I acknowledge that the payment for my spot must be paid at the time of submitting this application. I acknowledge that if my payment is not received, my spot will be given to another business. I understand that vendor fees are NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE. This event is rain or shine.
