• Media Shift

    The Black Arts And Cultural Center is so excited to partner with Public Media Network for Media Shift Media Shift is a 15- week hands-on program designed for students in 5th to 12th grade, where you can learn how to create powerful short videos on topics that matter to them to inspire action and awareness! This program allows you to tell your own story while building media skills that can really make a difference. In this hands-on program, participants will explore the fundamentals of documentary filmmaking with a strong focus on impact-driven storytelling. From concept development to final edits, participants will work on producing a 6–9 minute short documentary centered on a social issue, movement, or local cause they care deeply about. Dates: Saturday, September 13, 2025 – Saturday December 13, 2025 Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Saturdays)Location: Public Media Network Ages: 5th to 12th graders Capacity: Limited to 10 participants

    I am signing up the minor student listed above for the "Imagine Animation" summer camp hosted by the Black Arts And Cultural Center starting September 13thDecember 13th 2025. I, the parent or guardian listed above, am aware that the Black Arts And Cultural Center is not liable for any potential injury directly related to the session while the child is participating. Parents are responsible for transporting children to and from camp sessions. Behavior issues will be reported to parents and subject to removal from the program without refund.
