Queens of Ceremony - Story & Ritual Submission form

This is open to women who already perform rituals and hold ceremonies professionally. You’ll need to pitch your favourite ritual(s). *Submit up to three.
Queens of Ceremony is a 2 part programme

Part 1 is the production of a coffee table highly photographed book.

The photographs will be taken here in Bali by one of the islands top fashion photographers, while you write from the comfort of your own home wherever in the world you are - UK, Europe, America, Australia - visually this will be a beautiful book.

Each medicine woman will have her own chapter featuring her story about how she came to ritual and also featuring up to 3 of her favourite rituals. Lynette (best selling author/editor) will be running an on-line author programme to guide you through the writing process. All royalties will go direct to the charity 'Bali Street Mums', based here in Bali.

Usually...once published and the celebration launches are over, books rely on continuous pushing from the authors to keep sales alive and active.

We wanted to expand on the ongoing success of both the book and the authors, by offering a Ritual & Ceremony course over a number of weeks following publication.

Hosted and led by Azizi Birkeland, Part 2 will see each author given the spotlight for a week - she will be interviewed by Azizi, demonstrate her rituals, read her chapter and invite questions and answers from participants.

This means that authors have a higher reach of potential clients through participating as teachers in the course. Not only that but they will be financially rewards for each person they bring onto the course programme.

Authors will be active in all areas of this programme, including promoting the launch and the course, post publication - this will be a true collaboration of medicine woman across the globe and we are thrilled that you are here, ready to submit your rituals.

Author programme dates:

2023 - Thursday's 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th March (times to be confirmed, all calls will be recorded)

Schedule book release:

Aiming for August 2023 (flexibility is always required for exact publication date)

Ritual & Ceremony Course

This will run after the publication on-line launch - circa September 2023

It will run for 1 week for every author (i.e. 30 authors/30 week programme). Authors will be 'officially' required for just 1 week - we are very flexible about which author takes which week, we will organise that nearer the time.
