  • We at Power of Choice Ministries (POC) are grateful for your interest in helping our ministry and advancing our mission to reach lost teens through volunteering. We may be able to place and develop you in a position that satisfies your calling and the requirements of our ministry if we have a clear understanding of your background.   • Joining Power of Choice youth ministries is a thrilling and challenging opportunity to work with children, share the message of Jesus Christ and watch him start to change their lives. A high calling of responsibility goes along with this opportunity. Every leader has a divine mandate to ensure the safety of every child, volunteer, and employee entrusted to them. The following POC Rules of Engagement are provided to assist you in fulfilling this duty.

     

    You chose to apply to become a MINISTRY LEADER.

    Through our POC ministry models, you will engage in relational ministry with young people as a Ministry Leader. You will be involved in Authentic Christ Sharing Relationships and have access to and influence over young people.

    You are authorized to exchange contact information with young people (with authorized approval only), such as phone numbers, personal addresses, or social media sites, and you agree to use these methods of connection in a lawful and God-honoring manner. (Ex: sharing your story, leading Bible studies, small groups, mentoring, or other relational ministry actions.) When interacting with young people on digital communication platforms, you will try your best to include another leader.

    It is crucial that we always work to assemble our team with individuals of the highest moral and spiritual character because our mission and purpose as a Christian ministry is to bring hope, love, and healing to teenagers and their families. We ask all applicants to be ready to submit themselves to specific background checks in order to uphold our high standards. For that purpose, please answer the following:
