Each class session is scheduled for 45-55 minutes, except for kindergarten students. The rates below are for 1  and 2 classes a week. There is a 10% discount for each additional class added during the week.

 There will be a $5 travel charge for in-person tutoring.

Payment information and Booking fee. Effective December 20th 2024

Booking fee: A non-refundable booking fee of $5 is due at the time of scheduling a tutoring session. This can be paid by Zélle, CashApp, Apple pay, Venmo, or credit card. This is not only to secure the client’s appointment, but to prevent cancellations made less than 24 hours and no-shows. Booking fees will be applied to the balance of the appointment being scheduled. 

Balances are due at the time of service. Payment can be made by either CashApp, credit card, Apple pay Venmo, or Zélle. Tutors cannot accept cash or checks.  Parents will be provided with a receipt after every transaction. Parents also have the option of paying monthly and saving 10%.

Failure to pay services will result with the child being taken off the schedule and legal action. Parents will be responsible for any legal action taken for non-payment.

Tarifa de reserva: Se debe pagar una tarifa de reserva no reembolsable de $5 al momento de programar una sesión de tutoría. Esto se puede pagar con Zélle, CashApp, Apple Pay, Venmo o tarjeta de crédito. Esto no es sólo para asegurar la cita del cliente, sino para evitar cancelaciones realizadas con menos de 24 horas y no presentarse. Los gastos de reserva se aplicarán al saldo de la cita que se está programando.

Los saldos vencen al momento del servicio. El pago se puede realizar mediante CashApp, tarjeta de crédito, Apple Pay Venmo o Zélle. Los tutores no pueden aceptar efectivo ni cheques. Los padres recibirán un recibo después de cada transacción. Los padres también tienen la opción de pagar mensualmente y ahorrar un 10%.

La falta de pago de los servicios resultará en que el niño sea retirado del horario y se emprenderán acciones legales. Los padres serán responsables de cualquier acción legal emprendida por falta de pago.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND   Please Note: all service sales are final.  Clients are able to reschedule their student's session. We suggest doing this as soon as possible by communicating with the Tutor.  Clients should reschedule/cancel within 24 hours of scheduled appointment. If the client cancels their appointment within  time frame, then the booking fee can be transferred to their next appointment.  If client cancel after the time the policy states, they lose their booking fee and will need to pay it again when they make their next appointment. Repeated reschedules by client May result in student's account being paused and waitlisted.

CANCELACIÓN Y REEMBOLSO Tenga en cuenta: todas las ventas de servicios son finales. Los clientes pueden reprogramar la sesión de su estudiante. Sugerimos hacerlo lo antes posible comunicándose con el Tutor. Los clientes deben reprogramar/cancelar dentro de las 24 horas posteriores a la cita programada. Si el cliente cancela su cita dentro del plazo, la tarifa de reserva se puede transferir a su siguiente cita. Si el cliente cancela después del tiempo establecido en la política, perderá su tarifa de reserva y deberá pagarla nuevamente cuando programe su próxima cita. Las reprogramaciones repetidas por parte del cliente darán lugar a que la cuenta del estudiante sea pausada y puesta en lista de espera.

 

 

STUDENT VACATION AND PAUSING OF SERVICE  If student (family) will be taking a break from tutoring or going on vacation, please notifiy your tutor as soon as possible. We will pause your student's account for 7 business days from the last tutoring session. Due to having many children on our waitlist in some areas and wanting to keep our teachers contracted and working, we can not guarantee your assigned tutor will still be availiable to service your child after the 7 business day threshold. Please speak to your tutor or the Office if you have any questions. 

VACACIONES DEL ESTUDIANTE Y PAUSA DEL SERVICIO Si el estudiante (familia) tomará un descanso de la tutoría o se irá de vacaciones, notifique a su tutor lo antes posible. Pausaremos la cuenta de su estudiante durante 7 días hábiles a partir de la última sesión de tutoría. No podemos garantizar que su tutor asignado seguirá disponible para atender a su hijo después del umbral de 7 días hábiles. Por favor habla con tu tutor si tienes alguna pregunta.

Pets/Pest Policy. For in person tutoring in home, we ask that if you have any pets to please put them away and keep them away from the area the tutoring session will be located.

Also the tutor has the discretion to not work with a student in a home that has pest of any kind.

Política de mascotas/plagas. Para la tutoría en persona en casa, le pedimos que, si tiene alguna mascota, la guarde y la mantenga alejada del área donde se ubicará la sesión de tutoría. Además, el tutor tiene la discreción de no trabajar con un estudiante en una casa que tenga plagas de cualquier tipo.

LATE ARRIVAL AND CHANGE OF SCHEDULE  Fees are calculated according to the scheduled time agreed upon by the Tutor and Client.  No adjustment to fees shall be made for time lost because of late arrival by the Student or by early termination of session by the Client.  Any lost time because of the late arrival of the Tutor shall be compensated for by extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such amount of time that was lost.  The Tutor agrees to wait fifteen minutes from the time of the scheduled session for the Student's arrival before considering that session a no-show and notifying the Client and Office.   That session will then be subject to the terms set forth in the CANCELLATION AND REFUND policy.

LLEGADA TARDE Y CAMBIO DE HORARIO Las tarifas se calculan de acuerdo con el horario programado acordado entre el Tutor y los Padres. No se realizará ningún ajuste a las tarifas por el tiempo perdido debido a la llegada tardía del Estudiante o por la terminación anticipada de la sesión por parte del Padre. Cualquier tiempo perdido por la llegada tardía del Tutor se compensará prolongando la lección de mutuo acuerdo y por la misma cantidad de tiempo perdido. El Tutor se compromete a esperar quince minutos desde la hora de la sesión programada hasta la llegada del Alumno antes de considerar cancelada esa sesión y notificarlo a los Padres. Esa sesión quedará entonces sujeta a los términos establecidos en la política de CANCELACIÓN Y REEMBOLSO.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE TUTOR

•The Tutor undertakes to do all preparation prior to lessons and to structure lessons in such a way as to optimize time to the benefit of the Student. As well as, provide additional resources for student to help enforce lessons.

• The Tutor shall keep confidential all information of the Student and shall contact other parties involved in the education of the Student only if given written permission by the client to do so.

• The Tutor shall at no time be required or obliged to execute homework or assignments on behalf of the Student.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT AND STUDENT

 • The Client undertakes to assist the Tutor in identifying problem areas in which the Student needs specific tutoring.  It the responsiblity of the client to reach out to the student's teachers to identify what concepts the student needs to work on during tutoring. The Tutor WILL NOT communicate with any person or persons that is not the parent regarding the student's progress or grades without written permission by the client.

• The client agrees to provide the Student’s own materials needed for each tutoring session (E. g. paper, pencil, etc.).

• The client and student agree that assignments, exercises or homework form an integral part of tutoring and undertakes to complete such work timeously.

OBLIGACIONES DEL TUTOR •El Tutor se compromete a realizar toda la preparación previa a las lecciones y a estructurarlas de tal manera que se optimice el tiempo en beneficio del Estudiante. • El Tutor mantendrá confidencial toda la información del Estudiante y se comunicará con otras partes involucradas en la educación del Estudiante solo si el Padre le da permiso por escrito para hacerlo. • El Tutor en ningún momento estará obligado u requerido a realizar tareas o asignaciones en nombre del Estudiante.

OBLIGACIONES DE LOS PADRES Y ALUMNOS • El Padre se compromete a ayudar al Tutor a identificar áreas problemáticas en las que el Estudiante necesita tutoría específica. Es responsabilidad de los padres comunicarse con los maestros del estudiante para identificar en qué conceptos el estudiante necesita trabajar durante la tutoría. El Tutor NO se comunicará con ninguna persona o personas que no sean los padres sobre el progreso o las calificaciones del estudiante. • El padre se compromete a proporcionar los propios materiales necesarios del estudiante para cada sesión de tutoría (por ejemplo, papel, lápiz, etc.). • El padre y el estudiante acuerdan que las tareas, ejercicios o tareas forman parte integral de la tutoría y se comprometen a completar dicho trabajo oportunamente.

 

 

 

NO WARRANTIES The Tutor makes no promises or warranties with regards to a Student's performance as a result of any tutoring provided. Client understands that tutoring in itself does not guarantee a student’s individual success. It is to help reinforce what is being learned at school and home.  The student must also apply themselves.  Furthermore, Client acknowledge that he/she is solely responsible for their child’s learning and academic performance. 

SIN GARANTÍAS El Tutor no hace promesas ni garantías con respecto al desempeño de un Estudiante como resultado de cualquier tutoría brindada. Los padres entienden que la tutoría en sí misma no garantiza el éxito individual de un estudiante. El estudiante también debe aplicarse. Además, los padres reconocen que son los únicos responsables del aprendizaje y el rendimiento académico de sus hijos.

RELAXATION OF TERMS No relaxation, indulgence, waiver or release by any party of any of the rights in terms of this agreement on one occasion shall prevent the subsequent enforcement of such rights and shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of any of the terms.

WHOLE AGREEMENT This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.

RELAJACIÓN DE LOS TÉRMINOS Ninguna relajación, indulgencia, renuncia o liberación por parte de cualquiera de las partes de cualquiera de los derechos en términos de este acuerdo en una sola ocasión impedirá la aplicación posterior de dichos derechos y no se considerará una renuncia a cualquier incumplimiento posterior de cualquier de los términos.

ACUERDO COMPLETO Este acuerdo constituye el entendimiento completo entre las partes con respecto al objeto del mismo y las partes renuncian al derecho de confiar en cualquier supuesta disposición expresa o implícita no contenida en este documento. Cualquier modificación a este acuerdo debe realizarse por escrito y firmada por ambas partes.

Confirmation BY ACKNOWLEDGING AND SIGNING BELOW, I AM DELIVERING AN ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE THAT WILL HAVE THE SAME EFFECT AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE.

Confirmación AL RECONOCER Y FIRMAR A CONTINUACIÓN, ENTREGO UNA FIRMA ELECTRÓNICA QUE TENDRÁ EL MISMO EFECTO QUE UNA FIRMA ORIGINAL EN PAPEL MANUAL. LA FIRMA ELECTRÓNICA SERÁ IGUAL VINCULANTE QUE UNA FIRMA ORIGINAL MANUAL EN PAPEL.
