My name is Shalonda "Nic~Londii" Nicholson. I started in the Logistic industry as the owner of Just in Time Dispatch LLC, however, I now focus on promoting and connecting business owner to resources, by way of networking events.

I am the creator and coordinator of Original The Trucker’s Networking Ball.

The ATNB was created in 2021, it allows space where all business professionals within the logistics community can come together to enjoy some much-needed leisure time while remaining productive. In addition, non-logistic networkers will have an opportunity to expand their networking circle and connect with the logistics industry.

Vendor Event Etiquette1. ARRIVE EARLY (Required) *Setup time for Sat 10am-11pm . You will have more time for unloading and booth setup, less problems with parking, and also manage good impressions with the event coordinator. Arriving early will also allow you time to walk the event before it starts, have a snack or beverage, see other vendors, and assess any competitors. 2. STAY FOR THE WHOLE EVENT (Required) *Breakdown is at 5:15pm for Sat and 11:15pm for Sun * Leaving early will forfeit your right to return to future events. It is simply bad form to be packing up and leaving, while customers may still be browsing other booths and an interruption to the event itself. You never know who might stop by, and the end of events is often the time that vendors network and with other vendors. 3. STAND WHEN POSSIBLE First impressions are lasting impressions. Remain standing if possible, for the best opportunity to engage with your customers, move about your booth freely, and present the best possible, positive experience. This will also allow you to pull product more easily, or direct to various display pieces that might be of interst. 4. NETWORK WITH OTHER VENDORS Network with those around you. You might gain customers, but at least you’ll gain relationships that may yield future event leads. Networking with other vendors is a great thing to do when the event traffic is slow. Have extra business cards or goodie bags for this purpose. 5. STAY IN YOUR OWN SPACE (Required) Do not encroach on your neighbor’s booth(encroachment fee of $50). You will be required to purchase an additional booth, if you have more interns than space. Be conscious of your borders and corners, both in your display and people flow. Invite your customers INTO your booth, to avoid awkward conversations with your neighbors. 6. ENGAGE WITH CUSTOMERS Create an open booth environment by greeting each passerby, and inviting them in to view your product and display. *Signage must be in front or back of your table. *All vendors must use proper vendor etiquette, If required etiquette is not used, you may be asked to collect your items and join the rest of the non-vendor attendees, WITH NO REFUND.
