Pursuant to Seaside Municipal Code Section 17.52.251, the maximum number of Non-Hosted Short-Term Rental (STR) Licenses shall be limited to 90 licenses City-wide. Non-hosted STR licenses are also subject to a one-per-parcel and 55 feet Zone of Exclusion limits. The existing number of Non-Hosted STR will be determined after all existing STR licenses are renewed by mid January 2023. Because the number of existing non-hosted STR licenses is unknown, the City is not accepting any new applications (waitlist or otherwise) at this time. Instead, the City is collecting contact information of all interested parties who will be notified after the renewal process for existing STR licenses is complete.
