It is a very engaging realistic fiction novel with intriguing characters and universal themes of belonging, family/friendship, and inequity centered around the experience of an immigrant family.

Students are encouraged to read the book before the meeting. Check your local library for a copy. If you prefer to buy it, BookPeople will provide a 10% discount on book club purchases.
