    • Question: "I'm not sure of what to book exactly for my nail appointment, what should I select?"

      Answer: When booking your nail appointment using our online booking site, you will be instructed to choose specific tabs based on the look you desire to help create the correct time block for your spot. We have created this section to help you understand how to correctly book your appointment on your own.

      Step | 1 : Choose the desired service you wish to have performed and its correct length and shape.

      Step | 2 : Select the correct design add-on to ensure the correct timing is blocked off to prevent overlaps into the next scheduled appointment. 

      Step | 3 : Upload your inspiration, design photo or photo collage, read and agree to the terms.   

      Design Examples:

      *Basic Design/ 1-2 simple hand painted deisgns or light stone work on each hand.

      * Extra Deisgn/ 2-4 Semi/ Lightly Detailed hand painted or full finger/extra stone work on each hand.

      *Semi Complex Design/ Full Detailed nail art, light stones or combination of the two on multiple/all fingers.

      *Complex Nail Design/ Extra Detailed Stone work, hand painted art or combination of both. 

      *Complex Design with Large/ High Quality Crystal Mix Add on Example 

      *Short Acrylic Full-set/ Fill + Add on Deep French Tip Design Gel Polish (Nail Jewels/Charms are an additonal add on if desired with this service)

      Question: "But what If I have multiple pictures I want to upload to use as inspiration?" OR "What if I want to change the design and design photo I uploaded initially before my appointment?"

      Answer: Simply use a picture collaboration (pic collab) app or the one located directly in Instagram to compile multiple nail pictures in one to easily upload 1 single picture during checkout. To submit a new design photo before your scheduled appointment the system will allow you to reschedule and edit your inspiration photo up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Changes may not be made after this time frame. To edit your inspiration picture, simply click the "Edit Forms" Tab to upload a new design photo. Price changes will be updated manually if needed to cover your new services.

      STILL UNSURE OF WHAT TO BOOK? No need to reach out. Simply choose the most accurate selections you believe is close to the design option or service we offer that you would like to have performed.  Each customer is required to upload an inspration picture as mentioned above. Inspiration pictures are inspected prior to each scheduled appointment. This will allow us to get a preview of what it is you desire prior to your appointment so we can go in and manually make adjustments to your booking based on what we see. Your booking will be updated automatically to reflect the new price. If you have booked a freestyle design simply upload a blank picture or a picture of the color you desire.

      Unlike many traditional nail salons and nail techs we don't favor constantly telling clients we don't have something whether it be a specific gel polsih color, nail foil or charms/ crystals. So instead we give you the opportinuty to show us exactly what you want when you schedule your appointment in advance! 

       Answer : Book your nail appointment in advance (at least two weeks prior) to give us the opportunity to review your uploaded inspiration picture and place a order for any items needed to complete your desired style. If we cannnot locate certain items we will reach out to you directly to dicuss alternatives. No Need to reach out to inform us what it is you would like to get. Just book it :)

    • Question: Help! I booked an appointment, but need to change the services, time, date or picture!?

      Answer: To change the services you booked for a different appointment service type for example. (Change from acrylic fill-in service to acrylic full set service instead) Simply email us at rissnailedit@gmail.com with your desired changes and we will attempt to update them according to the available time we have. Please note changes are not guaranteed for approval. You will be notified if we are unable to accumulate you. Submit your email in the following format.

      Inspiration photo if different than the previous one you uploaded:

       

      Once your email has been submitted allow us 1-3 days to review. Please no, not text, call or DM us regarding this matter. Email Submission accepted only.

       

      You may change your appointment time, date and inspiration on your own simply by clicking the Change/Cancel Appointment tab located in the confirmation email sent to you after completing your initial booking. Only service type changes need to be submitted via email. 

      The system will allow you to reschedule and edit your inspiration photo up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. Changes may not be made after this time frame. To edit your inspiration picture, simply click the "Edit Forms" Tab to upload a new design photo. Price changes will be updated manually if needed to cover your new services. 

      Please note deposits are non refundable or transferable in the event you cannot make it to your appointment. No exceptions or further explanations. This includes those who test positive for Covid.

      Broke, cracked, lost jewels or messged up a nail/nails a day or few days after your recent nail appointment?

      Answer: Simply shoot us a text at 757-980-3556 to schedule your repair appointment. We do not offer repairs on nails that were not done by a member of our team. Repair availability is limited and if available first come first serve. Repair appointments are not guaranteed to be available and or available at a specific time you may need. 

      Nail repairs including nails that have been broken into the meat / nail bed of the client will be denied. Nail technicians are not allowed to work on open wounds. Please see your medical provider for safe removal.

      *If you have an up coming appointment and have new repairs that need to be added/were not added in the initial booking, theres no need to reach out to infom us. Your repair will be serviced during your appointment and added to your total at checkout. Simply be sure to bring the correct amount to cover your repairs. See webiste for repair costs.

      Answer: Deposit payments are non refundable or transferable in the event you cannot make it to your appointment for whatever reason. The system will allow you to reschedule up to 48hrs before your scheduled appointment free of charge. Simply locate the confirmation email sent directly to you after submitting your booking and select the "Cancel/ Change" tab. 

    • When will I receive the address for my upcoming appointment/ class?

       Answer: Address details containing arrival instructions will be sent 1-2 days prior to your scheduled appointment or class! All clients, whether New or Existing Must reply "YES" and follow all directions given or risk immediate cancelation. You do not need to reach out to request address details. 

    • How much is my remaining balance?  
    • Question: "How much is my remaining balance?"

      Answer: All nail appointment services and add ons located on our online booking site display the starting or total price next to their title. To get an idea of your total or round about the cost, you may add up each service price, subtracting your deposit payment to get a round about remaining balance total. If you think what you want may cost more, we recommend brining more just in case. Change is offered. 

    • Do you work over others? Or offer soak offs?

      Answer: Yes working over your previous techs work is something we do offer, however if major lifting and repair work is present, you will be charged extra to repair if a soak off service was not booked. Soak off services for acrylic and gel are offered when booking a full-set acrylic or gel-x service only, be sure to select the correct soak off stype. The soak off option will not show under Fill-In services.

      Answer: To see all current availability for nail appointments and nail training classes simply visit our online booking sites dedicated to them. Unless squeeze in, last minute or extra spots are advertised there is no reason to reach out to request them. What is shown on our sites is the most up to date availability for you to choose from. We do not recommend waiting to secure a spot as they fill quickly. Availability offered as a first come, first serve.

      1. The Nail Juice Academy Hybrid Licensure Program (Become a Licensed Nail Tech)

      3. When will the remaining balance be due?

      Answer: All remaining balances will be due in the form of cash payment on your first inital start date or on the due date of the pay in 4 payment plan chosen at checkout (approval by pay pal required) Remaining balances must before or on the date of your first initial class. If paying in person. Full payment will be due in cash only. All bills are processed through are currency bill scanner to ensure authenticity of all bills given. 

      4. Am I able to reschedule my class start date?

      5. When will I receive the address for the class? 

      Answer: You will receive a confirmation text, including the address details, arrival istructions and any additional info needed, 1-2 days prior to your start date be sure to include the best cell number you can be contacted on. 

      6. Do you offer State board preparation classes? 

      Answer: 

       We do not offer individual state board preparation for those who are not enrolled into our licensure program.
