Welcome to the McCurtain Memorial family! My name is Kelly Hobson, and I am the Infection Control and Employee Health Officer here at the hospital. In order to be compliant with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) standards, we are required to keep employee health files on all of our employees. These files include shot records, tuberculosis tests and screenings, and N95 fit tests for respirators.
Please bring the following when you come in for orientation:
1. Shot records including all childhood vaccines. If you do not have a shot record, blood will be drawn in lab to run titers for antibody levels to the required vaccines. You do have a right to refuse all vaccines.
2. A recent TB skin test within the past year. One will be provided if you do not have one at no cost to you. You will be required to return to the hospital between 48 and 72 hours so that we can read the results so be prepared to do so.
Please contact kelly.hobson@mmhok.com if you have further questions.
IMPORTANT: If you do not comply and bring with you the required documents above, you will not be able to start work. Orientation is only held once every two weeks and you will have to wait until the next orientation date to start work.
