    FENS-KAVLI SCHOLARS (FKNE) COHORT 2023-2027

    Eligible candidates are encouraged to self-apply. In addition, each FENS member society may nominate a maximum of two candidates (gender balance in these nominations is encouraged).

    All applications must include two supporting letters from internationally renowned neuroscientists. Applications must be submitted online (this form) by 10 April 2023 (23.00 o'clock, Brussels time).

    • Current position and affiliation; including amount of time dedicated to research;
    • Previous positions and affiliations;

  • 2. Motivation to join the FENS-Kavli Network

  • The FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence (FKNE) is a multidisciplinary group of early- to mid-career European neuroscientists that perform pioneering research and share the vision of shaping the future of Neuroscience. The aim of the FENS-Kavli Network is to promote scientific exchange among its scholars and alumni, improve Neuroscience in Europe and beyond, provide opportunities for young scientists, influence science policy, and facilitate interaction between science and society. 

    FKNE Scholars participate in ~2 meetings per year that allow for lively discussion of a range of topics across Neuroscience as well as challenges and opportunities for European neuroscientists; the FKNE scholars should get involved and actively contribute to the initiatives set by the Network.
