The ICAA Qualified Contractor logo will appear next to your free company listing in the ICAA Online Contractor Locator. You can also incorporate this logo into your website and promotional material. A copy of the ICAA QC logo will be attached to your registration confirmation email.
To enroll, Insulation Contractor agrees to the following points:
1. Licensing & Registration. Insulation Contractor shall possess all required statutory/regulatory licenses and other state or local registrations for the business as dictated by the requirements in each jurisdiction where the contractor does business.
2. Insurance. Insulation Contractor shall carry at least the statutory levels of insurance and applicable bonds required by the appropriate jurisdictions where the company offers its services, as well as all applicable contractually required insurance. Such insurance coverage shall include liability, workers compensation, and company vehicles.
3. Code Requirements. All work performed by Insulation Contractor shall be in compliance with all required state and local building codes, energy codes, and related regulations in each jurisdiction where the Insulation Contractor does business.
4. Federal Regulation. Insulation Contractor shall abide by FTC Home Insulation Rule 460.
5. Industry Code of Ethics. Insulation Contractor shall subscribe to the ICAA Code of Ethics.
6. Warranties. Insulation Contractor shall provide warranties to the homeowner that completed work will be free of significant defects, be installed in accordance with the specifications of the manufacturer and will perform properly for a period of at least one year after the date of the completion of the work.
7. Certification. Where certification is required by material manufacturer, Insulation Contractor shall maintain such certification.
8. ICAA Membership. Insulation Contractor is a member in good standing of ICAA.
9. Years in Business. Insulation Contractor has been in business for a minimum of three years.
10. ICAA Group Health & Safety Program. If installing fiberglass, Insulation Contractor is enrolled in the ICAA Group Health & Safety Program.
11. Training. If installing fiberglass/mineral wool, Insulation Contractor commits to completing NAIMA/ICAA Online Grade I Installation Training. If installing spray polyurethane foam, Insulation Contractor commits to requiring appropriate staff to complete ICAA Gateway Online Training for SPF Helpers.
Each ICAA Qualified Contractor is responsible for complying with applicable rules, regulations, standards, specifications, and contract documents. ICAA expressly disclaims all liabilities for damages of any sort, whether direct, indirect, or consequential arising out of the use, reference to, or reliance on these ICAA Qualified Contractor points. Qualification by ICAA does not constitute a warranty, expressed or implied.
