Thank you for your interest in creating a sculpture for the Endangered Animals Art Project (an extension of the Capitol Hill Alphabet Animal Art Project)! This project is a collaboration between Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, Cleveland Park Main Street, and Woodley Park Main Street to bring sculptures of local animals that are currently endangered or that once lived in Rock Creek Park to lamp posts along the Connecticut Ave. NW corridor between the Cleveland Park and Woodley Park metros.
There will be an RFP process in early 2023, which will require a sketch of one of the animals listed here (if you know of other local endangered animals you'd like to propose, please feel free to select "other" and list the animal!). We will assign animals based on selected preferences to make sure your time and efforts are used most efficiently. We will be back in touch in January with those selections and the full RFP!
