Chamblee High School Winter Guard Commitment Form

I commit to attend ever rehearsal, camp, and competition outlined in provided calendar.I understand that rehearsals and competitions are mandatory and more than three (3) unexcused absences can possibly result in the dismissal of my membership of the CHS winter guard without reimbursement of paid fees. I will make any conflicts known to the director by December Ist, 2022 through written correspondence. If a conflict arises, I will notify the director through email; otherwise absence will be considered "unexcused." Excused absences include: illness, bereavement of a family member, or a wedding of a close family member. I understand the above, and will adhere to these guidelines.

I am aware that membership fees for the 2023 season will cost $1,090 for the season. This number may change slightly if the membership count changes before Dec 14. 

Dues include: SAPA Dues (circuit fees) equipment, show floor, instruction, uniform (outfit, tights, and earrings and hotel accommodations for championships in Chattanooga, TN.

Season memberships do not include: backpacks (optional warm ups (optional food at competitions, or hair and makeup supplies.

I acknowledge that there will be fundraising efforts to participate in that may help reduce the overall fees. However, unless otherwise informed, I am expected to pay the full cost.

What do the dues cover?

• $100 SAPA Dues (Competition fees)
• $500 Instructor salaries (county does not pay them)
• $120 Floor and equipment costs
• $120 Uniform and Team T-shirt $250 - Hotel room for April 1-2 Championship Event

Payment Plan: December 15, $272.50 due: January 15, $272.50 due; February 15, $272.50 due: March 15, $272.50 due. I understand the above, and will adhere to these guidelines.
