Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. The Trenton Fortitude Corporation is a 501 (c) nonprofit organization which supports educational programs of The Trenton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Eligibility Requirements
- Male or female; African American or Latino student
- Reside in Mercer County
- Enroll full time at a four year college/university or enroll full time at Mercer County Community College
- Have the following minimum GPA on a 4.0 scale: Merit Awards 3.0 GPA; Book Awards, 2.7 GPA; MCCC Torch Book Award, 2.5 GPA
- One essay (250 word minimum)
- 2 Letters of Recommendation
- Official Transcript
- Demonstrate leadership in extracurricular activities
- Demonstrate involvement in the community
- Due Date: March 14, 2026 by 11:59pm EST
