MCAA Summer Violin Camps Application

SUMMER VIOLIN CAMP APPLICATION

Students may select to apply to Violin Bootcamp (July 31 - August 4), Violin Academy (August 7 - 11), or both.
Early Application Deadline is March 20th, with Decisions by March 24th. Regular Application Deadline is May 15, with Decisions by May 19th. Applications for remaining spots will be reviewed on a rolling basis until full.

Audition Video Submission

See Audition Requirements below. Students must submit an unlisted YouTube audition video in one unedited take.
Those students auditioning for both programs should follow Violin Academy requirements.

Violin Bootcamp: 1 major scale of choice (2 or 3 octaves), 1 melodic minor scale of choice (2 or 3 octaves), and up to 2 minutes of a solo piece - all selections should show the applicant's highest level of technical and musical ability.

Violin Academy: 1 major scale of choice (3 octaves), 1 melodic minor scale of choice (3 octaves), and up to 2 minutes of a solo piece - all selections should show the applicant's highest level of technical and musical ability.
