Endwood Scholarship - $1,000
The Endwood Scholarship is established in memory of one of the early families to settle the Lockport area and their interest in promoting higher education. The Endwood Scholarship provides a one-time award to a graduating Lockport Township High School senior to assist in continuing his or her education. The Endwood Education Fund will provide funds for this scholarship. Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
The criteria for this scholarship are: Preference will be given to a student pursuing studies in a physical science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Demonstrated financial need for assistance. A minimum 3.00 weighted grade point average. Demonstrated positive leadership qualities both in and out of the classroom. For applicants meeting the above criteria, preference will be given to a student with an immediate family member who, as a member of the United States military, is or has been deployed to a combat zone since 1990
