SPECIAL NOTE ON SCHEDULING DURING THE PANDEMIC

As the continuing COVID-19 Pandemic unfolds and continues to slow down our ability to meet and hold in-person sessions, LIR will monitor the situation and continue to provide the best possible experience for our Members. During this session, we are offering a few in-person opportunities, but the majority of our programming is still on Zoom.

Please know that the LIR Council is actively monitoring the Local Public Health situation and actively trying to find ways to bring more people together in common meeting spaces, while also trying to respect the feelings of those who want to remain at home where they feel the safest.

For In Person Seminars:

Locations are subject to change at any time and for any reason. Due to changing Public Health concerns or because of Venue related complications.

In the event of a location change, anyone enrolled in an affected seminar will be notified and given the option to withdraw from the seminar and choose a different option.

If a new Location is required every effort will be made to keep the location as similar to the one that was canceled for example staying on the Smith Campus but relocating to a different Building.

If there is another surge with the COVID Pandemic, LIR reserves the right to cancel all in-person sessions and require that Moderators not hold in-person meetings and return to the Zoom format.

ZOOM CLASS PARTICIPATION:

It is strongly recommended that you have a computer, IPad, or other device that has a camera and microphone.
You must have an operating system and browser that are able to support ZOOM.
It is possible to participate in a Zoom session relying only on the telephone; however, having a computer with video camera and free Zoom software promises to provide a more rewarding seminar experience.

AUDITOR STATUS:

Available ONLY to full members of LIR who have participated in seminars for at least 4 years, but are currently unable to continue actively participating.
Auditor status is for an entire semester, not for a single class.
Auditors do not make presentations, but may have reading or other requirements. Please check with the moderator for specific requirements for their seminar.
Auditors are registered after the lottery, and with the permission of the moderator(s), and as space is available.

CO-REGISTRATION:

To co-register for your first choice seminar with another LIR member, enter that person's name, and phone or email below.

That person must also submit a registration, and must also indicate the same first choice seminar, and that they wish to co-register with you.

Priority registrations do not apply to co-registrations, and co-registration is not available to moderators or auditors.
