WELCOME to The Carlsbad Oceanside Art League (“COAL” or the “League”) a non-profit organization, the purpose of which is to promote the education and cultural appreciation of fine arts in the community and provide a location for artists to learn to reach out to the public, display and sell their own artwork in our gallery as a collaboration with COAL.
If you do not have any representational options, please email two (2) photos to info@northcoastalartgallery.com so we may review your artwork prior to acceptance. PLEASE GO NO FARTHER with this application until you have done so in an email, then you you will be advised of applying.
Every Member is responsible to advise Membership of any significant change to their email, phone number, or address immediately.
MEMBERSHIP: Runs from DEC 1 to DEC 31, and dues become delinquent by JAN 31st. Afterward, you are considered a New Member and the rates apply.

The League does many things for its members and the community, and we are a volunteer organization that needs a monthly commitment at least 3 hours to sustain our programs. We require some form of volunteering assistance from our members to maintain the level of our gallery operations, otherwise we would not be open. Please make certain we are a good fit for you, as you would be to us.
Our Activities and Services provided 1) Monthly Shows in our gallery every month, 2) Live monthly demonstrations, 3) Baffle Art, 4) Jewelry/3D, 5) Storefront members' sales and demonstration opportunities, 6) Art on the Green with weekend sales opportunity at the Carlsbad Inn, 7) Annual juried awards show for members and the public, 8) Youth art shows, 9) Monthly newsletter, "The Brushmark". Members are to assume certain individual responsibilities. All this information is also available online, located on our Members Info tab.

NOTE: To enter Annual or Holiday Small Image Shows you must be a Member before entering in the month ahead of the shows before the show deadlines to qualify for discounts.
Membership dues are collected annually beginning December 1st and considered delinquent after January 31. All Fee Schedules are located in the appropriate selected Membership Categories.
A $15 processing fee is included for new members. Pro-rated fees are for new and renewing members after the date above. Thank you,
