If you are taking part in a personal capacity you don't need to register. You can just turn up on the day and join in the march. Remember, this is a march and a parade, we should always celebrate who we are and the hard fought achievements we have made, but there is still a long way to go and protest will always be at the heart of Pride.

The parade route takes about half an hour to walk, but it’s a very big parade and can take 1 -2 hours for everyone to get moving. To help us manage the crowds on the day we use a system of colour coded assembly areas with corresponding wristbands. The first section of the Parade is reserved for LGBTQ+ support, advocacy, youth, and social groups ‘Community First’. Your group will be in the second section ‘Pride Partners & Allies’ which is laid out in the colours of the Pride flag. Red is at the front and moves first, purple at the back. The earlier you confirm your booking, the closer you are to the front. (children go free).

  • The first 2 sections (Red & Orange) are now at capacity and we now taking bookings for the Yellow zone which is still within the first half of the corporate section. Once we reach capacity in the Yellow zone, we will move on to Green, Blue & Purple in that order.

Step 5 - Pay the bill

  • Frequently asked questions

Do we have to register for the Parade to take part in Pride?

No, there are lots of ways to take part in and support Pride. Joining the Parade as a group is great way to show visible and practical support, but its not the only way. Some people prefer a less structured approach, you might have a team brunch or dinner and have everyone do their own thing during the Parade.

Do we have to pay to take part in Pride if we’re not a group in the Parade?

The Dublin Pride Parade and Festival is a free event, however, if you are taking part in any of the activities with any form of corporate branding (t-shirts, etc) you should be making a meaningful contribution to the LGBTQ+ community. This can be done through our Pride at Work Programme or by supporting one of the many amazing LGBTQ+ organisations working in our community.

Do we need to register Children in our Group?

No, children go free. We will have special wristbands for children that you can request in advance or collect on the day.

Can we change the number of people in our group later?

Yes, within each section we have made allowance for groups to increase participants within reason. We will require final numbers by 30/04/2023.

What is the deadline to register?

30/04/2023 or sooner if capacity is reached.
