PROGRAM SCHEDULE | March - April

SESSION THEME | 'Expression'

This theme is all about our emotions, ideas and thoughts flowing from inside ourselves to outside. We will be expressing ourselves through all facets of programs; art, friendship, living, learning and sharing.

ON-SITE PROGRAMS 03/06/2023 - 04/28/2023 (8 weeks)

3 hours per session | 2 sessions per day | 4 days per week

TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS

PM BLOCK | 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

EXTENDED DAY BLOCK | 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

Beginning January 2023, Opportunity Knocks is offering extended day options for Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM. If a Warrior registers for the extended day option and the pm session (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM), they will be permitted to stay on-site from 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Lunch will be provided in the extended day option. Please contact Kim@opportunityknocksnow.org for inquiries regarding the extended day option.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ONSITE SESSION TRANSITIONS

There will be a daily transition period from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm during the on-site program days. All Warriors will be required to leave the program sites between sessions. Warriors can register for an AM and PM session on the same day, but they will need to go home between the hours of 12:00 PM- 3:00 PM

During the transition period, OK Staff will clean and disinfect program space according to our Cleaning & Disinfecting Plan. Staff will also then make preparations for the next group coming to their designated location.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
- The registration process will accept requests for all sessions
- Warriors will have three separate 45-minute activities within their group at the same location
PROGRAM COST STRUCTURE

The cost structure breakdown is based on a 8-week session. Financial assistance is available for Warriors & Families that qualify. We are implementing a new assistance scale that we will keep with us going forward. It is our goal to overcome financial barriers so that this program and all OK programs are accessible. ONSITE PROGRAMS - SINGLE SESSION COST BREAKDOWN
- 3 hours per 1 Day @ $15 per hour = $45 per session
- 8-week cost @ $45 per session = $360
VIRTUAL PROGRAMS- SINGLE SESSION COST BREAKDOWN
- 1 hour per Zoom Meeting @ rate of $10 per hour
- 9-week cost @ $10 per Zoom Meeting = $90
REGISTRATION PROCESS
- Registration will open on Wednesday, December 7th at 3:00 PM
- Registration will close on Friday, February 24th at 5:00 PM
- The final registration plan will be communicated befor Friday, April 21st by email confirmation letters.
INTAKE PROCESS

The intake process will include a few more documents, waivers, and consent forms than usual. We are taking extra precautions to ensure we are covering all of our bases. We ask for your patience and cooperation in this process.
