Weddings are a big deal. A lot of planning, thought, and money is going into your big day. Your family and most favourite people in the world are coming to celebrate you two. You want to make sure people are included, having a great time, and leaving the event having had an awesome time.
Wedding Music should also be a big deal. During the ceremony, you want that meaningful music cued at the right time. You want entrances to be spectacular. For your cocktail hour and dinner music, you want to create the right ambience, the right mood, and the right vibe. And for your dance floor, you want to bring your favourite people together and have a blast!
That dance floor is the exclamation point of your whole wedding event. Let's make sure your special day ends with a BANG!
Why I became a Wedding DJ... (1/4)
I was attending my friend’s wedding as a guest. The speeches finished, and the “party” was about to get started… except there was NO upbeat music and nobody on the dance floor. Just someone’s younger cousin on a laptop playing acoustic covers of pop songs off iTunes.

It was not lit. The guy behind the music wasn’t reading the room. In fact, he didn’t look up once. I even went up to him and asked if he could play something upbeat so people could dance, but he said, “Sorry, I don’t take any requests.” With no ‘music’ or dancing, it didn’t take very long until most people just left the party early and disappointed with the lack of a dance party.
Why I became a Wedding DJ... (3/4)
I was attending another friend’s wedding. At the reception the newly wedded couple was being introduced to make their grand entrance… except the DJ played the wrong song. The couple walked in and you could see the bride’s face full of panic, embarrassment and disappointment. She tried to signal to the DJ to play the correct song. After multiple attempts and a very cringey few minutes, it was an awkward start to the wedding reception.

These unfortunate moments inspired and compelled me to help couples avoid these mistakes and to provide a fun, seamless and enjoyable experience for the bride and groom and their special day.
