    The individual must have a passing score of 85% to be determined competent by the agency.

    The competency test examines all sixteen (16) subject areas and can be adjusted to exclude the six (6) personal care subject areas if an applicant is NOT going to provide personal care services. Testing competency for the six personal care competency areas can also be done by having the applicant demonstrate the skill.
