Feature Film – In depth discussion

Offers a discussion and feedback on where the script is at and guidance on how to move forward from the current draft:

• Intensive face to face meeting/s in person or online, up to 120 min;
• Most developers provide notes or bullet points of 1-3 pages covering the key points, or there is an exchange of emails discussing the issues that have arisen during the meeting;
• There is no further consultation during or after writing the draft;

Feature Film - Script consultancy

In-depth development, with the consultant guiding the writer to a workable plan for the next draft. The writer then writes the draft without the developer.

This may include:

• An initial intensive face to face conversation in person or online planning the next draft;
• Follow up notes;
• A number of meetings (up to three) as the writer progresses the draft. These are structured by the writer and the developer so the plan is tailored to suit both parties working styles;
• The developer will read what the writer provides prior to the meetings;
• A read of the completed draft followed by a meeting.

Fees and process differ between script consultants.

Fee range: NZ $2,875-$4,600 (+ GST if applicable)

Feature Film - Script edit

In depth development, with the consultant guiding the writer to a workable plan for the next draft. The developer continues to work with the writer throughout the writing of the draft all the way through to delivery.

This may include:

•  An initial intensive face to face conversation in person or online planning the next draft;
• Follow up notes;
• A number of meetings as the writer progresses the draft. These are structured by the writer and the developer so the plan is tailored to suit both parties;
• The developer will read what the writer provides prior to the meetings;
• Detailed notes (written or verbal) on both the big picture and page by page as the writer moves through the process, including detailed feedback on drafting/sequences;
• A read of the resulting draft and a follow up conversation which may include minor polishes.

Fees and process differ between script editors.

Fee Range: NZ $5,750-$9,000 (+ GST if applicable)

Short Film – In depth script discussion

Offers discussion and feedback on where the short film script is at, and guidance to move forward from the current draft.

• 60 minute face to face conversation in person or online;
• Most developers provide a page of notes covering the key points.

Fee: NZ $440 (+ GST if applicable)

Pitch Deck for a Limited Series – In depth discussion

Offers a discussion, feedback and guidance on strengthening your Pitch Deck

• Intensive face to face meeting/s in person or online, up to 120 min;
• Most developers provide follow up notes or bullet points of 1-2 pages covering the key points;
• A read of the re-worked Pitch Deck followed by a meeting with the developer, up to 60mins.

Offers a discussion, feedback and guidance on strengthening your pitch deck and pilot episode.

• 180 mins intensive face to face meeting/s in person or online;
• Most developers provide follow up notes or bullet points of 1-2 pages covering the key points ;
• A read of the re-worked pitch deck and pilot episode followed with a conversation, up to 60 mins.
