Photographer Registration

All guests and photographers/videographers in your party agree to the following: 

• Not to commercially exploit images of the Neon Museum collection in any manner whatsoever. Using images to promote any product, service, or business is considered commercial use and must be pre-approved by the Museum and separate release and commercial fee may be due to the Museum.
• Portfilio use on your website and social media is permitted.
• Selling the images to your clients for their personal use is also permitted. 

 

• Not to use props such as balloons, confetti, feathers, sparklers, fireworks, smoke bombs, alcohol, tobacco products, etc. (opening champagne bottles is prohibited).

 

• Stock photography and production of retail items is not permitted. Neither the name “The Neon Museum, Inc.” or any derivation thereof, nor any embodiment of the Museum nor any artifacts or images therefrom, may be utilized in the making of a commercial or retail product offered for sale, nor may same be represented to any third party as an endorsement of any retail or commercial product, business or organization.

 

• To specifically and expressly credit the Museum as "The Neon Museum, Las Vegas", if the location is mentioned.

 

• The Neon Museum Boneyard is a tight space containing broken glass, twisted and rusted metals and uneven terrain. Guest/Patron assumes all risk of injury which may occur due to the inherent risks identified herein and waives any and all claims for damages as against The Museum, whether under contract or tort, including but not limited to attorney fees and costs.

 

• To hereby grant the Museum the right to utilize images taken by Museum staff during your visit to further the interests and mission of the Museum, including but not limited to marketing, advertisements, development and fundraising efforts.

 

• The signs are museum pieces and respect for staff and the collection must be maintained. We reserve the right to end a shoot immediately without refund if any of the signs are touched or damaged by anyone at any time by accident or otherwise.

 

• As the Museum is an outdoor collection, all admissions are subject to cancelation due to inclement weather such as; temperatures of 105°F (40°C) or higher, sustained winds over 24mph/gusts over 39mph, lightning less than 5 miles away from the Museum, or air quality warning. Please note that we seldom cancel for rain. Should a cancellation occur, we will attempt to reschedule your visit wherever possible or provide a full refund. We will make every effort to accommodate your visit. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

 

During your visit you MAY:

• Bring props or chairs to sit/stand on

• Bring any and all camera equipment with the exception of drones

• Post images on personal social media sites. Tag us! @theneonmuseumlasvegas, @neonmuseum, #neonmuseum #neonboneyard

 

You may NOT:

• Stand on or cross the rock border/stanchions (this applies to talent, photographers, crew and equipment)

• Throw or toss any objects (including flowers)

• Touch, lean, sit, stand or place objects of any kind on the sign collection

• Enter the collection intoxicated or consume alcohol or tobacco products inside the collection 

• Use drones or aerial vehicles to capture Images 

• Bring any animals/pets on the premises

• Film, photograph, or record any derogatory, defamatory, disrespectful, obscene, pornographic (e.g., nudity, partial nudity, sexually explicit), profane or unlawful content
