• Welcome to the 2023 Arts❤️NRV  Market Artist Application Form

    The event will be held at the Montgomery Museum of Art and  History  ~ 4 E. Main St., Christiansburg, VA 24073. April 28-29. The market is free and open to the public. Booths are to be fully staffed during show hours: Friday, April 28, 12pm to 7pm and Saturday April 29 10am-4pm. Load-in will begin at 8am Friday and booths must be complete by 11:30am. The artists’ booths will open at 12pm. Booths may not be broken down until the event closes. Load out will start at 4pm on Saturday and not before. If you have questions please email info@artsnrv.org
  • Eligible Works

    Examples, representative of all work, should be presented for the jury process. All exhibited works must be of the same quality, category, and body of work shown in the example images juried. NO work may be exhibited for which the artist did NOT have example works juried. New work may be submitted for consideration by the jury, after your acceptance. Jurors on site may ask for evidence of the displaying artists' involvement in the work or process.

    Not Acceptable: No buy/sell, mass produced, production or manufactured items, gourmet foods, kits, or work other than that produced by the artist are permitted.

  • Release of Liability

    Exhibitors agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, The Montgomery Museum of Art & History, and/or their officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, heirs and assigns, from all liability, costs, damages and attorneys’ fees resulting from or relating to any claims in any way connected with this Event. This provision extends to damages, including but not limited to theft, breakage, vandalism, accident or any other damages caused by the Client and/or guests or attendees in connection with this Event. The Montgomery Museum of Art and History assumes no responsibility for any food, beverages, artwork, and/or any other items whatsoever brought by anyone to the Event prior to, during, or after the Event.

    Insurance

    While artists are not required to carry liability insurance, coverage is a growing trend among exhibitors. Participating artists are fully and solely responsible for the safety and security of their own exhibit areas and damages or injuries to other exhibits or persons caused by their exhibit area.

    Tax Information

    Vendors are responsible for the collection and filing of all local and state sales taxes.
