About us
The Being Good Relations Network is a United Church-based network covering all of AB, Northeast BC, and Yellowknife, through Chinook Winds and Northern Spirit Regional Councils. It also includes relationships with four Indigenous communities of faith, the wider Indigenous church, and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit organizations in our communities and provinces/ territory. All people supportive of right relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people are welcome.
Why this survey?
The Being Good Relations Network Leadership Group would like to renew its relationships, including freshening up its contact list with network supporters old and new.
And, it would like to get a picture of the steps taken by your community of faith on the journey of truth and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. That includes learning about needs and opportunities.
All of this will help us understand how best we can renew the network, its work, and its many relationships. Whether you’ve been involved for a long time as a formal “Witness” in the network, or are brand new and committed to right relations, we want to hear from you! (What's a "witness"?
