  • Need-based scholarships for first-time, full-time college students in San Diego County

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Minimum 2.0 High School GPA
    • Be a senior in a high school in San Diego County
    • Be a resident of San Diego County for the last year
    • Plan to attend an accredited college or university in San Diego County
    • Plan to attend college full-time in Fall and Spring
    • Demonstrate a financial need and complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or CA Dream Act Application 

    Final scholarship recipients will be selected based on the above eligibility requirements, financial need, and their responses to the essay questions. These essay questions are about getting to know you better — your life experience, interests, ambitions and inspirations. Please provide comprehensive responses to help the committee to assess your elgibility for a scholarship.  You will be notified if you are awarded a $1000 scholarship.  

    The deadline to apply is March 17, 2023.
