Dorset Adventure Cafe Presents:
Sandra Stalker
25th January 2025
Sandra Stalker is an award winning local underwater photographer focussing on the hidden colourful fiesta of underwater wonders on our fabulous Dorset shoreline. From shuffling down ice covered slipways and ice cream head in the winter to hours floating through swarms of jellyfish in the summer Sandra and her husband Ryan spend most of their time floating in the sea photographing our local underwater creatures and places in creative ways.
'My talk will be a colourful showcase of these hidden underwater wonders that exist right on our doorstep and the trials of capturing them on camera through a slideshow of my photography and tales of how I get the shots. I will also talk about Ryan’s infamous award winning Goose barnacle on a volleyball shot that won the British wildlife Photography awards 2024, our fascination with these pelagic ocean drifters and the lengths we go to capture them on camera.'
The evening will include a curry with all the trimmings from the Dorset Adventure Cafe served in the interval.
