2023 Entry Form

Rules and Conditions of Entry

Open to anyone living, working or at school within a 3 mile radius of Manor Park, Shepperton (the site of the Fair) who is not connected with the Fair Committee or the support team, and who has no commercial interest in photography either as a professional or an amateur.
Each entrant can enter a total of 6 images.
Images must have been taken by the entrant and must not have been previously entered into this competition.
Entries must be received by midnight on Monday 29 May 2023.
Images can be in black & white or colour from film or digital original.
Entries using this form must be submitted as jpeg or png files in as large a size as possible.
All prints will be displayed until the Fair closes at 5pm on 10 June and can only be collected after this time from Manor Park until 6.30pm.
Judging will be by an appointed panel and the judges decision will be final in all matters, including interpretation of these rules.
The Shepperton Village Fair committee and the Sponsor reserve the right to use your submitted images for promotional and marketing purposes, without payment and with a credit. The competition sponsor may wish to use some entries for publication in the Village Matters magazines. Your details may therefore be passed onto the sponsor for this purpose only. If you do not wish for your details to be used in this way please advise the Photographic Competition Organiser.
Neither the Shepperton Village Fair committee nor any sponsors shall be responsible for any loss or damage in respect of any entry.

JUNIOR entrants' criteria: 7-11 years old, inclusive, on Saturday 3 June 2023. The shot can be of any subject.

SENIOR entrants' criteria: 12-17 years old, inclusive, on Saturday 3 June 2023. The shot can be of any subject.

You can still enter using a printed form and submitting your own prints, as in previous years. This option has an extended deadline of noon on Saturday 3 June. For this, you will need to download and complete a hard copy entry form

You may enter up to six images. Adult categories are priced at £1.50 each. Child entries are 75p each.

When you first submit an entry using this form, you'll receive a link to enable you to edit your entries. This means you can upload, remove, change and generally curate your entries until the deadline.

If you enter via this form and upload files we will produce prints 10in (25.4cm) longest edge with a narrow white border.

If you are uploading a picture to enter from your phone, you may find it easier to complete this form on the same device that stores your image.  

You may enter an Instagram picture that you took, but you will need to make sure it is in a photo album on your phone or tablet first. Find out how to download your Instagram images to your phone or tablet.
