The Goodnight Initiative, Transformative Culture Project, Lower Roxbury Coalition, AfroDesiaCity, and researchers and collaborators at Northeastern University joyfully invite you to join us in celebration of art, health, and culture on December 21, 2022, 6-9 pm at Hibernian Hall. As we gather on the shortest day of the year to warm our spirits for the long winter ahead, we will reflect on the outcomes of a three-year community-engaged research project to understand the essential role of Boston’s Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and AAPI artists in supporting community health and wellbeing. We hope you’ll add your voice to this important conversation and help us plan for the next steps in research, art and health programming, and policy advocacy.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a celebration without great food, art, and music, so be ready to enjoy all three in abundance! Our festivities will feature a gorgeous spread from Fresh Food Generation, live performances by Ant Thomas and Phree, kids’ activities, a pop-up exhibition, and our evening host, Amanda Shea, and DJ TROY Frost to keep the vibes on high!
Please let us know by next Friday if we’ll see you; bring your partners and little ones, and dress as fabulously as you are!
