Wander & Wonder: A Clergy Hiking Group
The North Geogia Conference has partnered with the North Georgia Camp and Retreat Ministries staff to offer some guided hikes for our North Georgia United Methodist clergy. We are offering three different hiking cohorts in different geographical regions of the conference with varying dates and intensity levels. All of the hiking cohorts will begin in January. Hiking Options: We are offering three hiking options that vary geographically and in intensity. In order to find the best fit for you, please let us know what options work for you. After we reviewing the applications, we will do our best to organize hiking groups that best fit the participants' needs. Click all the options below that work for you. NOTE: You can attend any cohort you wish. It does not have to be near where you serve.

These hiking groups will gather once a month for four months from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the specified dates and locations.

I will make every effort to participate in all four hikes.I will make every effort to begin on time and stay until the end of the day.I will make arrangements to be fully present, doing my best to set this day aside without distractions and to be present in body, mind, and spirit.I understand that I will need to provide my own transportation to the hiking site and pay any entrance fees required. (Note: an annual Georgia Park Pass would be a good investment.)
The participant fee for this clergy hiking group is $80 total ($20/hike). Clergy continuing education funds should be used to cover the cost if available.

Lunch on the Trail: The group will enjoy lunch together as part of the hiking day.

I would like our facilitators to make arrangements for lunch. I just want to show up and hike. I am willing to pay an additional $10 per hike for this convenience.I would prefer to bring my own lunch.
