Commuter

Participants who are commuting to the conference and are not registered for a housing plan will have the opportunity to pre-register for a meal plan. Information will be mailed along with your QBL conference information packet in April 2023.

Housing

We are only offering single room housing options. All housing plans include arrival the night before your class begins. All housing plans include a meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner beginning with dinner on the Sunday night you arrive and breakfast on the morning you leave. Please review our housing information for more details.
Weld Hall

Air conditioned housing is available for students in Weld Residence Hall, a historic 19th century hall with lake view balconies and beautiful common areas. Each participant will have a single private bedroom. There are 4 private bathrooms on each floor, which are shared with approximately 3-4 people per bathroom.

Glen Park Mansion

Glen Park is a Tuscan villa architecture house with drawing rooms designed by Pleasant Rowland. The outer walls are of blue limestone, with an inner chamber between, rendering them impervious to dampness and making the rooms cool in summer and warm in winter. The halls and rooms are spacious and sunny, with charming lake views. Glen Park Mansion is not airconditioned, though it has large windows with breezes from the lake, and it designed to stay cool in the summer. Fans & personal cooling units can be brought. Each resident will have a single private room with a shared bathroom down the hall with approximately 3-4 people per bathroom.

Wells dormitory offers single rooms on a floor with shared bathrooms (4 private bathrooms to a floor, approx. 3 people share a bathroom), and lakeview balcony. If you'd like to share a floor with friends please include their names here.

Deposit & Processing Fee: A $225 non-refundable deposit is required for each session at the time of registration. This fee includes a $25 processing fee per session to reserve your space at QBL. The remaining $200 will be put towards tuition fees. If the class you want is full, and you do not have a 2nd choice, your deposit is returned and your name is put on a wait list.

Terms and Conditions & Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: a non-refundable $225 per session is required to attend. The balance of the conference fees are due May 15, 2023. Cancellations after May 15, 2023 are not refundable for any reason. You may designate someone to take your place if you cannot attend. Cancellations before May 15, 2023 must be in writing or emailed to QBL (qbl@schweinfurthartcenter.org) and received no later than May 15, 2023 to qualify for a refund. QBL is not responsible for travel refunds.

We highly recommend that you contact a travel agent about travel cancellation insurance for 2023.

Final payment is due May 15, 2023. A $25 late fee is added to all payments received after that date.

COVID Policy: All QBL attendees must take a rapid COVID test and test negative upon arrival at Wells College. This is a Wells Campus policy and must be completed in order to attend QBL. Rapid tests will be provided by the college. All participants will take a test at registration.

The mask policy is currently: Strongly Recommended, but not required. QBL reserves the right to change this policy AT ANY TIME. If you are not willing to wear a mask if asked, please do not attend QBL. QBL reserves the right to ask you to leave if you will not wear a mask if required. You may view our full COVID Policy Here.
