The Love Bug After School Club

PLEASE READ AND SIGN BEFORE COMPLETING REGISTRATION:

Thank you for choosing Love & Care ECC! We are super excited to have your Love Bug(s) join us and even more excited to become a part of your support system! Please read the following information, so that you have clarity before registering for our Before/After School Club(s). Love & Care ECC is NOT a Behavioral or Medical Facility. While we do provide a therapy based social and play curriculum/schedule, our Before/After School Clubs are intended to be extracurricular. Our Program DOES NOT provide 1:1 care, so your child(ren) MUST be able to participate in a small group setting. If an activity is not preferred, no worries, we always give a similar preferred activity. We follow a daily schedule to maintain a well balanced and thriving environment and most importantly teach our Love Bugs the importance of structure and self regulation. Our programs serve ages 2-20 (17+ must still be enrolled in High School). *Ages 2-4 may require reduced hours, please email us directly. *ALL CHILDREN THAT ARE NOT POTTY TRAINED MUST BE 9 AND UNDER at this time. 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

ALL Counties are welcome, however, we do not provide transportation at this time. Columbia County School buses will pickup and/or drop off your Love Bug at our location. Contact your Love Bug's Teacher and provide our address and your child's pickup and/or drop off, so that it can be submitted to the transportation department.

Unfortunately, due to pre-planned events and scheduled staffing, we are unable to issue any refunds or credits for days missed. If your child misses a day(s) or a week(s) full tuition for the weeks missed and the current week MUST be paid to return. Weekly tuition is due every Monday. A $50 late fee will be automatically charged the day after payments are due. The NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee is $100 per child. This ensures your child a spot. If this fee is not paid when the application is submitted, placement is not guaranteed, and your child may end up on our waitlist.  PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT PRORATE FOR PARTIAL WEEKS, WHICH INCLUDES HOLIDAYS. IF WE ARE CLOSED DUE TO A HOLIDAY(S) OR PRE PLANNED CLOSURES, WE DO NOT MAKE ANY PRICE ADJUSTMENTS. THE CHARGE EACH WEEK IS PER SLOT, NOT PER DAY. 1 DAY= 1 WEEK.

Pricing is reevaluated semi-annually. It is our goal to keep the cost as low as possible while offering an excellent, quality-rated experience. The cost is $125 Weekly for potty-trained attendees. Tuition includes all activities, onsite entertainment, and afternoon snack(Snacks are served to accomodate a regular diet We do not accomodate for allergies, religion preferences etc. Please send in snack options if your Love Bug has a special diet). The cost is $150 Weekly for NON-POTTY TRAINED AND MEDICALLY COMPLEX ATTENDEES and includes all items listed above. NON-POTTY TRAINED SLOTS ARE FOR AGES 9 AND UNDER. While registration is allowed for non-potty trained and medically complex attendees, final approval is required. Please keep in mind that we ARE NOT a Medical, Nursing, or Behavioral Facility. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted by the Director for a phone/in-person conference. SINGLE DAYS ARE NOW AVAILABLE. The cost is $35 per day for potty-trained and $40 per day for non-potty trained/medically complex. Single days are more per day, than the general weekly fee. Our program is Sensory, Social, & Life Skills based, so we want to encourage the use of independent living skills, such as building friendships, appropriate conversations, restroom privacy, self-care, community exploration, small meal preparation and more. Our hours are 7 AM - 6 PM. Late pick-up will result in a $50 per hour fee. At 6:15 PM, a late fee will be charged. Our schedule may sometimes vary due to our students therapy schedules, but you will always be notified if anything changes.

Before/After School tuition DOES NOT include School Break Camps, School Days Off, or Early Release Days. Those passes MUST be purchased on our website under the Events tab. If your Love Bug attends a School Break Camp his/her after school tuition will be prorated or waived if is a full week. If your Love Bug does not attend the School Break Camp/School Days Out, REGULAR TUITION IS STILL DUE and WILL NOT be prorated. Weekly tuition secures his/her slot. This is not a new policy, as daycares always follow this policy. When a child is absent tuition is due or he/she is unable to return until weeks missed plus the current week are paid in full. Please be sure you fully understand this policy, If you need clarification, please feel free to ask questions anytime.

If your Love Bug attends a modified school day and needs midday care, please contact us for further information and to join the waitlist.

 

By signing this document, I verify that I have read through the 2025-2026 Love & Care Exceptional Children's Childcare packet in its entirety. I verify that I have thoroughly read the policies, pricing, due dates, and scheduled hours. I understand that submission of this form AND payment of the registration fee is reserving my child a spot, if still available, or a spot on the waitlist if all slots have been filled before my submission.

EMERGENCY CONTACTS (Others that may be reached, if we cannot reach you.)

(Anything we should know about your child to ensure he/she has an excellent experience. Private meetings with Director available upon request. People authorized to pick up your child should be listed. Identification is required for pickup until we are familiar with everyone.

Student's Personal Information

As the parent/guardian of the listed child, I authorize my child to participate in all activities. I permit Love & Care Exceptional Children’s Childcare LLC., to administer first aid, and in the event of an emergency, to secure a physician for any emergency treatment needed for my child. I understand that a conscious effort will be made to locate me or a close relative before any action is taken. I understand and accept that this expense is my responsibility. I also understand that it is my responsibility to carry primary accident and health insurance.

Photography Release

Notice of No Liability and Acknowledge

I understand that I am being informed in writing, by signing this acknowledgment that this facility does NOT carry liability insurance to protect my child in the event of Covid-19, injuries, illnesses, accidents, etc. Love & Care Exceptional Children's Childcare LLC., Love & Care Exceptional Children's Summer Camp LLC., Love & Care Exceptional Children's Love Bug Music Club, The T.Y.L.E.R Movement, or any of its Owners, employees, volunteers, other affiliates are NOT responsible for injuries, illnesses, accidents, medical costs, lost wages, etc.

Bright From the Start Exemption Acknowledgement

This acknowledgment serves as a notice, that Love & Care Exceptional Children’s Childcare LLC., is NOT a licensed daycare facility. I understand that this program is not required to be licensed by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and is exempt from state license requirements. Please sign below as an acknowledgment that you have received this notice.

Disclosures

Invoices must be paid on or before the due date. Due to preplanned events and scheduled staffing, we DO NOT issue any REFUNDS OR CREDITS. Excessive late payments will result in an increase of tuition by +$50 per week. 

Late pick-up will result in a $50 per hour fee. Late fees will be assessed at 6:15PM. Excessive late pick ups will cause a tuition increase of +$50 weekly. We understand that emergencies happen, however we do have team members that have to attend school events, college classes, etc., after closing at 6PM.

**NO PERSONAL ELECTRONICS PERMITTED i.e., Cell Phones, iPads, Gaming Systems, etc., except those needed for Non-Verbal attendees. Love & Care ECC is NOT responsible for devices, toys, or other personal items brought in that are not allowed. If items are lost, or misplaced by your Love Bug or damaged, we do not replace or assume the cost for personal items.

**IF YOUR CHILD DAMAGES ANY PROPERTY THAT BELONGS TO LOVE AND CARE ECC OVER $50.00, YOU WILL RECEIVE PHOTO PROOF, ALONG WITH AN INVOICE FOR THE PROPERTY THAT WAS DAMAGED. AN INTERVENTION PLAN MUST BE PUT IN PLACE AND DAMAGED PROPERTY MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE YOUR CHILD CAN RETURN TO OUR FACILITY.

Sick Policy

We strive to maintain an immaculate, clean, and sterile environment. It is very important that if your Love Bug is not feeling well or someone in your home is experiencing a severe viral infection that you keep your Love Bug at home. If he/she has had any of the following, they should be kept at home: Persistent coughing and runny nose, sore throat, fever of 100 degrees or greater, vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours, rash, eye infection, and head lice. If your Love Bug is present and we experience any sick symptoms, we will contact you for pickup. Please DO NOT give him/her a fever reducer or antacid and send them in. Also, if your Love Bug is not his/her normal self or lethargic we will call for pickup to prevent what may be the beginning stages of an infection. Viral infections spread FAST and many of our kids have delicate immune systems, so please be considerate of others.

 

Participation Authorization/Emergency Care Plan

As the parent/guardian of the listed child, I authorize my child to participate in all activities. Intervention Behaviors

(Verbal and/or Written Notification): This notification is intended to be used as a team effort, so that we can work together to create a plan that best suits your Love Bug and everyone directly impacted.

Excessive screaming
Sensory overload
Perseverative behaviors that interfere with the class such as noises, humming or singing
Running away from staff (That puts themselves in danger)
Excessive/Constant Stimming: Although we understand that stimming is a form of communication, in certain instances it is EXTREMELY overwhelming for the class as a whole. We want to make sure we are providing a peaceful atmosphere for all of our Love Bugs, so at certain times of the day, we REQUIRE quiet time so that our Love Bugs are not overstimulated, and we can minimize triggers for those who have behavioral needs.

Behaviors that Require a Parent Pick-Up:

Behavior that continues even after interventions have been tried and affects the safety of the child, other children, and/or staff. These behaviors may include intervention behaviors listed above, as well as:

Self-injurious behaviors
Fighting/Biting or any physical interaction with another student or staff member
Inappropriate language
Continuous non-compliance
Spitting and/or intentionally using bodily fluids to be defiant
Undressing outside of the Restroom
Aggressive behaviors
Excessive/Constant Stimming: Although we understand that stimming is a form of communication, in certain instances it is EXTREMELY overwhelming for the class as a whole. We want to make sure we are providing a peaceful atmosphere for all of our Love Bugs, so at certain times of the day, we REQUIRE quiet time so that our Love Bugs are not overstimulated, and we can minimize triggers for those who have behavioral needs.

Expulsion Behaviors: ALL Behaviors listed above, as well as:

Repeated behaviors that require a parent pick-up
Multiple interventions
Excessive/Constant Stimming: Although we understand that stimming is a form of communication, in certain instances it is EXTREMELY overwhelming for the class as a whole. We want to make sure we are providing a peaceful atmosphere for all of our Love Bugs, so at certain times of the day, we REQUIRE quiet time so that our Love Bugs are not overstimulated, and we can minimize triggers for those who have behavioral needs.
**Aggressive behaviors towards Staff or fellow Consumers could be cause for expulsion.

We understand that many factors cause behaviors. Medication, therapy, and environmental needs are the most frequent causes. Our program is currently structured to be recreational and unfortunately, if we are redirecting or managing certain behavioral needs, that reduces the number of activities and experiences our other Love Bugs are allowed to enjoy. While it is our goal to welcome everyone, our program may not be a great fit for everyone, as the days are jam-packed with scheduled activities.

Love & Care ECC reserves the right to refuse patrons. Attendees, parents, and caregivers must understand that non-compliance, aggressive behaviors, verbal threats, vulgar language, constant complaints, or disrespect are not tolerated. Please understand that safety is our main priority. We have the right to terminate services IMMEDIATELY if our policies and procedures are not followed. If services are terminated, payment for two weeks will be retained.

Parents please be sure that you have read and understand the behavior policy. Any time an attendee is exhibiting behaviors that could injure themselves, staff, or other attendees or damage the facility or community property, Staff will call for the attendee to be picked up. Please understand that Love & Care Exceptional Children’s Childcare LLC. is NOT a Behavioral Clinic, Therapy Center, or Personal Care Service.
